Actually I was thinking about building a simple JSON Feed publishing tools with Micropub & some kind of serverless platform for use of my self-hosted Micro blog.
However I found WordPress is actually good enough with a few plugins, it’s excessively heavyweight but I have more than enough spare resource on personal cloud servers.
It’s interesting that Japanese franchises were over-localized into English in early 2000s.
While there are benefits that alternative terminologies can reveal more settings about the franchises, there are also downsides, for example, the English version of Ace Attorney changed too many settings, making it tremendously difficult to localize further titles. I guess this might be the main reason that Dai Gyakuten Saiban hasn’t be localized.
I believe putting highly customized library format packages (Such as DEVONthink, Pixave) into cloud sync folders is a very bad idea. I have had corrupted libraries because of this. Use the native syncing features supported by these apps or only use it as a one-way syncing backup.
One comment from an unacquainted ordinary person on Weibo last Sunday:
Horrible…I’m still young and I don’t want to live that kind of meaningless life. ?
That news feels like medical diagnosis of terminal illness to a billion people.
Hello world. I’m starting a self-hosted Micro blog.
